Requirements and Guidelines
Applicants must be MDs or MD/PhDs
A two year commitment to the program is required. Exceptions are considered for gynecologic oncology fellows.
Trainees must be able to commit full-time effort, normally defined as 40 hours per week, to the program and its related research activities, consonant with NRSA guidelines.
Applicants are accepted up to 2 years in advancement of enrollment
At the time of appointment to the training program, individuals selected for research training support by the NRSA institutional training grants must be citizens or non-citizen nationals of the United States, or must have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence, i.e., in possession of a currently valid Alien Registration Receipt Care I-551, or some other legal verification of legal admission as a permanent resident.
