Anne Cote joined the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in January 2010 as assistant vice president for advancement and senior advisor to the dean. Cote comes to UM from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she served as executive director of principal gifts for the last five years. In this role, she managed UCLA’s campus-wide Principal Gifts Program and served as the chief principal gifts officer for the university. She began her tenure at UCLA in 1992, holding various senior level positions since then, including executive director of the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation and associate director of development for the UCLA Medical Center. Prior to UCLA, Cote served as director of special gifts at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
