Harry Rohrer has been Chief Financial Officer for UMHC - University of Miami Hospital & Clinics and Anne Bates Leach Eye Hospital for the past 10 years -- recently adding the Department of Ophthalmology. In his expanded senior management role, Rohrer oversees finances for the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s two specialty hospitals and the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, which currently operate under an annual budget of $525 million. Rohrer has 30 years of health care finance experience. Prior to joining the University of Miami, he was director of finance for the Public Health Trust for eight years. He has held several finance-related positions at Johns Hopkins Health Systems, including chief financial officer for the Johns Hopkins Medical Services Organization, and corporate controller. Mr. Rohrer is a CPA and has an MBA from Loyola College of Baltimore. He is also a member of the HFMA.
