Clinical Interests
Dr. Jorda's clinical interests include genitourinary pathology and breast pathology.
Dr. Jorda is interested in all clinical and anatomic pathology fields; however, her expertise is focused on clinical and anatomical aspects of genitourinary tract and breast malignancies.
Furthermore, she is a part of the cytopathology team at the University of Miami Department of Pathology, where they especially see an extensive number of cytopathology breast cases due to the existence of the Taylor Breast Cancer Center (located at Jackson Memorial Hospital) and the Braman Family Breast Cancer Center (located at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center).
Research Interests
Dr. Jorda's research interests include molecular pathology of cancer and immunocytochemistry of tumors. She is interested in all markers, immunohistochemical and molecular, which may give the diagnostic, prognostic, predictive and treatment information. Dr. Jorda's research interests have been basically at the level of anatomic pathology and cytopathology, specifically in the areas of breast and genitourinary tract malignancies as well as cytopathology.
