Biography

Dr Robinson completed his undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Albany followed by medical education at Emory Universigty School of Medicine. Medical School was followed by an internship in general surgery at Emory with his general surgery training completed with residency at Beth Israel Medical Center. There he received honors for academic achievement, the Albert Einstein School of Medicine medical student teaching award and the Howard Ginsberg chief resident of the year award.
Seeking to delve deeper in the challenges of surgery he continued his training with a fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at the Albany Medical Center Institute of Vascular Health and Diseases, arguably the nation’s largest vascular center . On completing his training Dr. Robinson accepted a position as assistant professor of surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he was named junior attending of the year. At the University of Miami he hopes to continue a lifelong commitment to surgical education and serving not only south Florida but the Caribbean community as well.
