James M Grichnik, M.D., Ph.D. is a professor of the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Grichnik, an expert in early detection of melanoma, serves as the Director of the Anna Fund Melanoma Program in the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. This interdisciplinary program is experiencing rapid growth and offers comprehensive melanoma care. He also directs a world-class Surveillance and Detection clinic utilizing imaging technologies such as total body photography, dermoscopy, and confocal microscopy to allow for melanoma detection at early, more curable, stages. Dr. Grichnik was recently named Chief of the Frankel Family Division of Melanocytic Tumors.
