Education & Training
Sylvester’s Office of Education and Training promotes educational opportunities, interaction, and collaborative cancer research-focused programs for clinical and basic science faculty, graduate students, and pre- and postdoctoral trainees. The Office of Education and Training is responsible for coordinating a number of educational activities, including the Distinguished Guest Lecture Series and Zubrod Memorial Lecture.
We provide a forum for outstanding clinical and translational researchers to interact with Sylvester faculty. The focus of these educational lectures is to bring basic science and clinical researchers together to discuss recent advances in the understanding and treatment of human cancer.
More information about Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center’s research and training programs as well as cancer-related conferences is available below. To view a list of upcoming professional education and training events, visit our UMMSM Education & Career Development Calendar.
