Education & Training

UM/Sylvester’s Office of Education and Training promotes educational opportunities, interaction, and collaborative cancer research-focused programs for clinical and basic science faculty, graduate students, and pre- and postdoctoral trainees.  The Office of Education and Training is responsible for coordinating a number of educational activities, including the Distinguished Lecture Series, Core Curriculum for Oncology Fellows, Landon-AACR Prize Lectures, and Zubrod Memorial Lecture.  We provide a forum for outstanding clinical and translational researchers to interact with UM/Sylvester faculty. The focus of these educational lectures is to bring basic science and clinical researchers together to discuss recent advances in the understanding and treatment of human cancer.
