Sylvester’s Office of Education and Training promotes educational opportunities, interaction, and collaborative cancer research-focused programs for clinical and basic science faculty, graduate students, and pre- and postdoctoral trainees. The Office of Education and Training is responsible for coordinating a number of educational activities, including the Distinguished Guest Lecture Series, Core Curriculum for Oncology Fellows, Landon-AACR Prize Lectures, and Zubrod Memorial Lecture.
We provide a forum for outstanding clinical and translational researchers to interact with Sylvester faculty. The focus of these educational lectures is to bring basic science and clinical researchers together to discuss recent advances in the understanding and treatment of human cancer.
