Sylvester Hollywood is a hub for Sylvester’s innovative cancer services, providing uniquely tailored treatments for the most rare and challenging cancers. Our sub-specialized multidisciplinary team is led by Ney Alves, MD, an expert in oncology and hematology with a special interest in myeloma and lymphoma, who serves as the facility’s Medical Director.

Sylvester Cancer Center at Hollywood provides World Class personalized care through our expert caregiver team and state of the art facility.

Sylvester at Hollywood features:

  • Comprehensive infusion suite consisting of 8 chairs for chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hormone therapy
  • Nursing Care Team specialized in Oncology
  • Onsite diagnostic laboratory and genetic testing
  • A “site-based” approach to cancer treatment (based on the organ where the cancer originates), offering a team approach in 14 of Sylvester’s site disease groups
  • Our Clinical Research Department is active in the science of patient care offering state-of-the-art clinical trials utilizing targeted therapies, immunotherapy, and vaccines for many types of cancers
  • Non-retail pharmacy services
  • Convenient free parking, complimentary valet parking, and shuttle services to Miami & other UM sites

As a university-based cancer center, Sylvester physicians and scientists apply research breakthroughs from the laboratory to the patient’s bedside.
