Marc E. Lippman, M.D., a pioneering breast cancer researcher who is chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan and former head of the Medical Breast Cancer section of the National Cancer Institute, has been named chairman of the Department of Medicine at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine.
