Papanicolaou Corps Celebrates 55th Anniversary With Generous Gift To UM/Sylvester

In celebration of its 55th anniversary, the Papanicolaou Corps for Cancer Research announced a generous gift of $3.15 million to fund cancer research at the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The presentation made today at the annual donor luncheon at the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa in Hollywood, puts the Pap Corps close to reaching its six-year, $14 million pledge a year early. The Pap Corps, founded in 1952, has more than 17,000 members in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.
