Patients Bill of Rights
Sylvester recognizes the importance of providing quality care to its patients and supports each patient’s rights regarding individualized medical care. Every patient has the right to not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, or age in admission, treatment, or participation in our programs, services, and activities. These rights are set forth in accordance with Florida laws, and apply to any patient, parent, and/or guardian receiving medical care. Patients have the right to express grievances to the appropriate state licensing agency regarding any violation of their rights as stated in Florida law.
