Shared Resources

Six developed shared research resources and several resources in development are available to all UM/Sylvester members and provide access to technologies, products, services, and expertise that facilitate interaction between researchers and enhance scientific productivity. More importantly, these research resources help to avoid wasteful duplication of resources; to provide economies of scale which results in cost savings; to facilitate access to expensive equipment and highly skilled technical services; to maintain quality control and consistency of service; and to promote multidisciplinary interactions and collaborations among UM/Sylvester researchers and programs.
