Sylvester Cancer Support Services is pleased to welcome Vera Vasershteyn who brings Acupuncture back to UM/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Vera graduated from Moscow’s medical school in 1972, specializing in neurology and acupuncture. Dr. Vasershteyn came to Miami in 1990, becoming a certified acupuncture physician in the United States as well. With her knowledge of eastern and western medicine, Dr. Vasershteyn brings the best of these medical traditions to her practice, and treats each patient with the utmost care, attention, and concern. Her holistic approach emphasizes the safest treatments with no side effects.
During your first visit, Dr. Vasershteyn will listen to you and plan a health strategy to best treat the problem (English and Russian are spoken).
